Carrot Pilaf
Ingredients
3 cups cooked rice
½ cup sultanas
handful almonds, chopped
1 carrot, grated
2 shallots, chopped
2-3 tablespoons butter
Pinch each tumeric, cardomon, salt and pepper
Method
1. Place butter in a saucepan and melt.
2. Add almonds, carrot and shallots.
3. Cook for approximately 5 minutes.
4. Add spices, rice and sultanas. Mix well and Season to taste.
5. Serve
